Measurement: Length, volume, and temperature

Objectives:

  1. To evaluate a student's ability to measure temperature.

  2. To evaluate a student's ability to measure length.

  3. To evaluate a student's ability to measure volume.

Questions:

  1. What is the temperature of the water in "cup B"? _________________________________________________________

  2. What is the length of the piece of cardboard? ___________________________________________________________

  3. How much water is needed to fill "cup A" to the line marked on its side? _______________________________________
All measurements should be verified by scores and acceptable error be built into answer sheet, e.g. 1o, .5 cm, 2 ml.
