Grades 9-12 Performance Task

Test (CAPT)
Students design and conduct an experiment to
determine which earth material (sand, potting
soil or limestone) or combination of earth materials
will best reduce the acidity of "acid rain." Students
work with a lab partner initially, then work independently
to write a report and answer 4 contructed response
questions.
