National Science Education Standards (NSES) The National Science Education Standards (NSES) outline what students need to know, understand, and be able to do to be scientifically literate at different grade levels. The NSES are the product of the efforts of many individuals and groups, with major funding by the National Science Foundation. Other state standards frameworks and curriculum frameworks can be used to search for tasks in PALS, if they have been mapped to the National Science Education Standards (NSES). See available frameworks below. Contact us to discuss how you can index the science standards of your state, district, or program to the NSES if you would like your teachers to be able to search for PALS tasks linked to your standards.
