Math Activity for Protocol Test

What is the average air temperature when the maximum temperature is degrees C and the minimum temperature is 15 degrees C? (NCTM Standards: Numbers & Operations 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6)

The maximum air temperature is 25 degrees C, the minimum air temperature is 15 degrees C, and the current temperature is 18 degrees C. The current temperature is how much colder than the maximum air temperature? How much warmer than the minimum temperature? (NCTM Standards: Numbers & Operations 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6)

Air Temperature Protocol Test

The Air Temperature protocol test assesses students' ability to take accurate air temperature measurements.
